Poplar

First of all, Poplar looks like a sunfish!

I'm also now keeping a written track of each street I cover since it was getting harder to remember where I'd already been and making sure I covered all mapped streets.

I took a lot of photos in Poplar. I found many beautiful and interesting things!

Canary Wharf

What a fascinatingly new and different geography to where I have been so far. There aren't as many  Google Street Views, but I was able to get a good sense of it. Ironically, the only pictures I ended up taking were not of tall glassy towers but of older and more quirky structures, cool art and some interesting people. I guess I know what I find most intriguing visually.

Not directly from Streetview, as I could not get a great view.

I think this is maybe part of the same structure as above, though I saw them from different angles on different days.

This entire wharf line is delightful.

Joyful construction worker.

Took me a while to realize this was an art piece. So cool!!

Isle of Dogs

Isle of Dogs

I love the winding street with green space built in.

This is gorgeous.

What a neat building.

A cool pattern.

I love London's various extremely simple parks. Here is another one.

Light and colour.

Geometry like crystals.

A happy woman.

Like a Renaissance painting.

More colour and light.

Beautiful balance.

Quirky architecture.

A contemplator.

An unusual building.

I like the colour and lines in this landscape.

Neat architecture.

National Maritime Museum and Greenwich Park

This represents many disturbing things, but its also very cute.

Getting close to the Prime Meridian, thinking about time, and seeing one falling leaf captured on Street View. Existential moment.

A happy moment.

These are the first freestanding houses that aren't mansions I've seen since I started in Southwark Park Rotherhithe (A2 at Charlton Way)

Two beautiful views (top: near Charlton Way and Maze Hill, bottom: Greenwich Park)

I particularly like the measurement standards here.
